We wrote, recorded, and shot a video for "Arizona Waltz" in 24 hours.  Check it out!

Three years ago

Been getting nostalgic y'all.

Three years ago we shot this video in Prescott, AZ, with our good buddy Tres Ikner. Hope you like it as much as we do.

Long Time Coming

This Saturday we're finally releasing the very first thing we recorded as a band.  It's a split single with Phoenix's Rising Sun Daughter on Baby Gas Mask Records!

Come on out to the show, and check out the video Baby Gas Mask made for the song!

Fall update

Alaska blew our minds.  We have so many dozens of people to thank for such a fun and successful tour.  And we hope to do it again next summer!
As soon as we got back, Sam moved to St Louis, but he's coming back for one weekend of shows in September.  Hope to see you there!

Berkeley, CA - Starry Plough

Starry Plough, 3101 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley, CA 94705

Twang Bang returns to the East Bay for one night only! The show that started in Berkeley at Epic Arts returns to its roots...well sort of...and for one night only. But still, it's back! Featuring Laura and the Killed Men + One Grass Two Grass + Hay Babes

Please join us for a very special Twang Bang -- an evening of urban flavored Americana, where old meets new, city meets country, and foot-stomping bluegrass meets city slicker country music. It's exactly want your late great-grandpappy would have wanted.

LAURA & THE KILLED MEN (Tucson, AZ) Frequently compared to Iris Dement, Chrissie Hynde and Gillian Welch, Classical singer-turned-folk-artist Laura Kepner-Adney shades her Americana with country and echoes of Appalachia. She has developed an expansive songwriting style that highlights her connection to Arizona's unforgiving environment. Rooted in traditional folk technique, Laura's guitar playing exposes her rock and blues influences and showcases her unconventional, rich vocals. http://www.lauraandthekilledmen.com/ Watch this: https://youtu.be/xRblFflSwYk

ONE GRASS TWO GRASS (Oakland) One of the Bay Area's freshest new bands, One Grass Two Grass are fast becoming one of the most popular bluegrass outfits around. They deliver high energy, hard driving, fun loving, old-timey, new-timey, good-timey, California stringband music. Through richly lyrical, naturally inspired originals cushioned by a bed of old mountain tunes and the occasional stomping classic rock number, their unique sound is expressed as a mesh of yesterdays established protocols with the need to bring strings to the times in their own exciting way. Standing on the shoulders of the contemporary movement powered by Old Crow Medicine Show and The Hackensaw Boys, One Grass Two Grass forge their own style of “folk meets old-time meets rock meets bluegrass” craze. http://www.onegrasstwograss.com/ Listen up: http://www.onegrasstwograss.bandcamp.com/

HAY BABES (Oakland) With their signature blend of old time, country, and bluegrass tunes, Hay Babes burst onto the Bay Area music scene in 2013. Boasting the double threat of Wendy and Megan at the helm, and backed by a rhythm section of two semi-vagrant callus-handed Buckaroos, Hay Babes will knock politely on the door of your heart then pull a Winchester and force entry the moment you crack the door. http://haybabes.bandcamp.com/
